Q. What is Project AVARY?

Project AVARY is a support and enrichment program helping children with incarcerated parents develop the skills and confidence they need to mature into healthy young adults.



AVARY is made up of four programs including:

  • Sleep-away Summer Camp
  • Monthly "Adventure Day" outings
  • Teen Leadership Program
  • Family Unity activities for fun & community-building


A child must begin his/her involvement with Project AVARY by first attending one week of Summer Camp.

Thereafter we encourage children to participate in our year-round programs and to remain with us into young adulthood.
